I happen to be one of those ”two women running the booth” that Craig is speaking about here. It was the nicest surprise to be sitting at the booth and suddenly I-Man writer Craig Silverstein walks up. I remember blurting out, “Oh, my goodness, Craig Silverstein.” I recognized him immediately. He was very gracious and we chatted a bit. He signed the petition and even posed for us in the booth.

I can’t take credit for the comic book. The gal who ran the booth with me is a very talented artist. She’s the one who was responsible for Craig’s prized possession.

The Invisible Man Online website has been sitting neglected for a very long time. When I started working on the movie, I though that I just wasn’t going to have time to keep it up, so I put an announcement up on the home page that the site would be shutting its doors in the future and there it sat. I just never seemed to be able to find the time to dismantle it. But I think the real problem was that I just didn’t have the heart to do it. Throughout the years we’ve lost quite a few fabulous Invisible Man fan websites. That’s only natural for a show that has been off the air for so many years. But I didn’t want to see us lose another one, especially when I have the choice to keep it, so I did a lot of thinking about how I could fit another website into my already busy schedule.

It was quite obvious that the site needed an entire overhaul and redesign. I needed something clean and attractive looking, but it needed to be easy to maintain since I’m limited on time. So I decided to use the same WordPress theme that I’m using for my other blog, only I structured it so that it would be more page based than blog based. This makes it more like a true stand-alone website than a blog, although I kept the blog feature on the site and I will still be blogging occasionally.

If you take a look at the menu, which is still a work in progress, you’ll see that there are a lot of empty pages just waiting to be written on. Since my main focus is and has to be on the movie first, I’m coming to you and asking for help to make this website a fitting tribute to our wonderful show…a place where fans can come and enjoy themselves and get lost in all things I-Man. So if you have a little time and can help out, please let me know.

There are a lot of really talented fans out there who maybe don’t have the time to keep up a website by themselves but might be willing to help out on a part-time basis. Maybe you used to have an Invisible Man website and you took it down. Would you be willing to share any content from your old I-Man site? Or give me a hand with this site? Maybe you currently have an I-Man site, but don’t have the time to keep it up and are thinking about deleting it. Before you do that, can you share any content with me so that we don’t lose it? Do you have some fun ideas for the site? Do you have mad writing, research, or graphics skills?

I really would like to see this site be a group project and I’m hoping some of you will be willing to help out. Here’s what I need:

Fans with mad writing and research skills to write detailed bios for all six cast members.

Fans with mad writing and research skills who can write detailed bios for key crew members.

For the Episodes section, I’m looking for the synopses from the original Sci-Fi website.

For the Characters section, I’m looking for the bios from the original Sci-Fi website.

In the Downloads section, I’m looking for contributions of music from the show and also pictures from the show.

I’m also looking for scripts from the show, which I hope to PDF and share online. Do you have any?

The show was full of fun quotes. Anybody want to help find and write quotes from the show?

Do you know any show trivia? I’m looking for all of it.

Can you think of questions that you would like to know about the show, the characters, or anything else related to the show? Ask and I’ll do my best to answer them. Or perhaps you can come up with both questions and the answers for the FAQ section?

International fans (or someone with good research skills), can you help me with the International section? I want to find out how The Invisible Man is available in your country. Is it currently airing on any stations? Can you get the DVDs in your language? What fan websites are there in your language? What is the history of the show in your country? In other words, when did it air? What channel? For how long?

If you have good research skills, I need help tracking down all the stores, online and brick and mortar, where the DVDs can be purchased legally.

There’s have never been any official merchandise so I’m looking for links to fan-created merchandise that can be purchased. Can you help with this?

Artists, do you have any I-Man artwork you can share?

Graphic designers, do you have any I-Man graphics you would be willing to share?

There are a bunch of I-Man music videos out there. Can you help me find them?

Have you created any I-Man games? Please share so we can all enjoy!

Do you currently have an I-Man website? Please share the link and I’ll add it to the list of Invisible Man sites.

Do you have any ideas for content that I haven’t thought of yet? Please help me make this a great I-Man website!

So there’s my list of things I need for now. I hope you will considering helping me out. More hands make for a lighter task and will make this a true community website. Can you help?
