09/22/05 - Attention European Fans!  Would you like Vince and Paul to visit  Europe?
From:  Ripley

Ripley, a fan from France, is currently taking a poll to see if European fans would be interested in seeing Vince and Paul at  a European sci-fi convention in France.  She would like to try to get Constellation Conventions to invite the two actors to the con so that European fans will get the opportunity to meet our favorite dynamic duo.  But she needs to know if there is any interest!

If you live in Europe please take a moment and let Ripley know if you are for or against the idea.  There are no guarantees, of course; but it is an idea worth pursuing.

09/13/05 - See Eddie Perform Live!
From:  Perseus Project

Eddie is now appearing in the west coast premiere of Beggars in the House of Plenty at the Victory Theatre Center in Los Angeles.  Here's a great opportunity to watch our beloved "Official" perform live on stage!  Eddie's wife, Anita Khanzadian, is directing this play.

"Fast-paced, furious, and unrelenting, this highly stylized play explores the myths and reality of an Irish-American family at war with itself.  The New York Times writes, 'A theatrical event not likely to recur anytime soon...In a breathless 90 minutes, 40 topsy-turvy years of family flood across the stage.'"

The play runs now through October 9, 2005.  Showtimes are:

Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m.

Sundays at 7:00 p.m.

One Special Pay What You Can Performance:  Thursday, September 15, 2005

09/05/05 - Report from I-ManiCon 2005

I-ManiCon 2005 has come and gone and for the small group of I-Man fans who gathered together in Los Angeles this past Saturday, it was truly a memorable experience.  Both old fans and new came together for a day of fun and activity, which included game playing, video watching, and lunch and dinner at nearby restaurants.

Mike McCafferty was able to chat with the con goers by speakerphone from Michigan and he announced that talks were currently going on for an I-Man movie!  It is all very preliminary at this point, but he said it looks to be more promising than past talks.

Paul Ben-Victor came in near the end of the con and graciously posed for pictures with fans and signed autographs.  He was joined by Eddie Jones and his wife Anita at the I-Maniac dinner at a nearby Italian restaurant.  Fans were able to visit with the actors during dinner and Paul and Eddie were able to catch up on each other's latest career news.  Later Eddie kindly signed autographs and both he and his wife posed for pictures with fans.

The con was so enjoyable that there has been favorable discussions about having the next I-ManiCon in LA again, where, hopefully, more cast members will be able to attend next time.  Reports and pictures from con attendees are starting to appear on the net and this announcement will be updated with new links and pictures as they become available.
