Welcome to the Archives section of The Invisible Man Online!  Looking for past news and updates?  You've come to the right place!  Feel free to pull up a chair and browse through the files.  Eberts doesn't mind as long as you put the file back in the right cabinet.  He's very fastidious about such things you know.

01/29/06 - A New Home for I-Man?
Sources:  Buttwasted, Stacey

Buttwasted has taken the lead on getting I-Man aired on a new network:  The Sleuth Network!  Sleuth, owned by NBC/Universal (the same company that owns I-Man), launched on January 1, 2006. It's a network dedicated to the crime, mystery, and suspense genre.  With its government spy agency setting, wouldn't I-Man fit right into this new network?  We think so!

If you want to help out by contacting the Sleuth Network, Buttwasted has already done some legwork for you by finding a couple of media contacts.

The ever determined Stacey has written them and has already received a response!  Thanks to Stacey for sharing it with us!  Here's the response she received:

1408

According to Variety, 1408, the Stephen King short story adapted for the screen by Matt Greenberg, is now being rewritten by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski.

The story revolves around a man specializing in debunking paranormal occurrences who meets his match when he checks into the notorious room 1408 in the Dolphin Hotel. There, he encounters true terror.

Fair Haired Child

Fair Haired Child, Matt's contribution to the Masters of Horror anthology, debuted on January 5, 2006 on Showtime.  Now in case you missed it, rumor has it that it may be airing again in the future.  I'll keep an eye out and try to let you know in a more timely manner next time.  In the meantime, check out the rest of the series on Showtime and the following websites.

01/08/06 - I-Man Returns to France and the UK!
Sources:  Ripley, Buttwasted

This is late, but from Ripley, a French fan, comes the news that four unaired episodes of I-Man (Going Postal, Insensate, Exposed and The Three Phases of Claire) aired during the holiday season.  They aired at 2:00 a.m. in the morning.

From Buttwasted comes the news that I-Man has come back to the UK!  Buttwasted decided to join other fans who have been writing to the UK Sci Fi Channel in an effort to get the US Sci Fi Channel to take notice.  Well, the US Sci Fi Channel hasn't taken notice yet, but the UK Sci Fi Channel sure did and I-Man been added to their schedule this month!  UK Sci Fi is airing two episodes every Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. and repeating them at 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. that night.  What a great opportunity for UK fans to introduce their friends to the show and expand the I-Man audience!
