Welcome to the Archives section of The Invisible Man Online!  Looking for past news and updates?  You've come to the right place!  Feel free to pull up a chair and browse through the files.  Eberts doesn't mind as long as you put the file back in the right cabinet.  He's very fastidious about such things you know.

Support Getting I-Man on DVD and in Theaters

Are you tired of waiting for The Invisible Man to be released on DVD for the Region One (U.S. and Canada) audience?  Would you love to see The Invisible Man continue in the form of a feature film?  You can help by signing the petitions!

Petitions are one of the most basic methods of campaigning around and they really don't take much time at all.  Just sign them and pass the links to as many of your friends as you can so they can sign them too.  Want to help even more?  Check out the new DVD support banners created by Liz in the downloads section!  Use them on your website and in your signatures and be sure to link them to the DVD petition.

In addition to the online petitions, hard copy versions of the petitions are available for download and printing.  They are perfect to take to school, work, your neighborhood, or your local science fiction/fantasy convention.  Get folks to sign them and then mail them in to The Invisible Man Online.

Periodically the petitions will be printed out and mailed to the powers that be (TPTB).  So how are we doing so far and when is the next mailing going to take take place?

Here are the current petition totals as of this posting date:

12/8/04 - Sahara Hits the Box Office in Early 2005
Breck Eisner, son of Disney executive Michael Eisner, makes his feature film
directorial debut with Sahara, due to be released in theaters March 25, 2005.

Based on the Clive Cussler best-selling novel "Sahara," which is the first novel in the Dirk Pitt adventure series.  Adventurer and explorer Dirk Pitt and his associates from NUMA (National Underwater and Marine Agency) search the Sahara for a dangerous toxin that is poisoning marine life.

So who is Breck Eisner and why would Invisible Man fans want to support his movie?  Not only did Breck Eisner direct The Invisible Man Pilot episode, but Mr. Eisner is interested in directing an Invisible Man feature film.  This guy is on our side!  Success for Breck can only help our cause.  The more clout our supporters get, the better.  So show your support for Breck by supporting his upcoming feature film!
